Why use a Window Film?
It's a good question. Why would anyone want to use a Window Film when there are Glazing products that claim to be Solar Control Glass?
The answers are simple
- Solar Glass is extremely expensive and doesn't actually work very well compared to a Window Film
- Window Film can be retro fit (ie, installed on an existing window)

- Window Films can reclaim existing good windows to reduce landfill impact. In other words, rather than replacing old windows, apply a window film instead. This way, you can save money and have the benefits a film can give.
- The creation of new glass (be it standard, laminated, E-coated or Solar Glass) has a significant impact on Carbon Output.
- Some films can improve both Safety and Security
- Using a Window Film reduces costs and disruption to employees in a building when renovation or building works are taking place.
